The skyscrapers are a fitting place to exhibit my photos. The city outside my window has become my daily companion. Everyday the view beckons me to take her picture. And everyday I grab my camera to catch her in a different mood.
She is a perfect model. The weather changes and the city responds by changing color. When the fog slides in, she turns all white and on hot summer days the sun turns her buildings gold. The clouds play a symphony above, sometimes in a hurry to play an allegro and on other days an adagio. The mountains lounge in the distance until they tire of waiting and then disappear for a few days. As busy as the streets are below, up here it can be lonely until one day a wasp came by to visit. Of course, I had to take his picture. Maybe that’s why he came by.
All photos were taken from this one window in my apartment on the 23rd floor.
